THE POOR VS. THE BANKS, IRISH CRISIS
Picture taken in Dublin, Ireland. On the background you see the headquarters of one of the biggest banks in Ireland: Ulster bank. On the foreground a monument of the poor Irish people: the Great Famine. A monument which commemorates a period of great hunger and mass starvation in Ireland in the 19th century. A period in which over a million Irish emigrated to other countries to seek a better and brighter future. I see a big parallel with contemporary Ireland. Ulster Bank on the background provides an interesting paradox.
